We have been discussing Pathetic Fallacy. Here are some of mine.

The animals were bored in the zoo.

The fish were annoyed of being captured.

The Sun was smiling down at me.

My favourite part at camp was doing Archery, Kayaking 

And the confidence course, Because When we were doing 

Archery it was fun because I almost hit a bullseye but then

Missed and hit the blue one, then Anthony hit a bullseye after

Me and then we said “we’ll shoot the arrows together okay” then

After that we all shot and I hit a bullseye then it bounced off and 

it didn’t count.  

Secondly was Kayaking, because when we did 

Kayaking I was kayaking until my kayak hit the sand, then

The boat flipped and then I fell of my kayak and then the instructor

(JJ) told me to flip my kayak back over then I was following him 

And telling him how my kayak flipped. Last but not least was the

Confidence course, When we were doing the confidence course

It was fun because we had to work as a team to complete it then 

We could go on the flying fox, after we completed it we all ran to 

The flying fox and then when I saw it, I was kinda scared to go on it

But Sione and Anthony kept telling me to come on the flying fox

It’s fun, then when I got on and when I went down it was fun but little

Bit scary and then when I reached the end I wanted to go again and

I wasn’t scared to go on it anymore. The instructors was JJ,Nathan

And Heidi.

Dear Mrs Cardoza, why my homework is not done because,I put my homework in the lounge, while I went to go play outside, then I totally forgot about it, and I ended up sleeping, while my dog teared my homework book apart.Then when I woke up my homeworks friend, ate my dog, so then I tried rebooting my homework, and then I went and took my dog’s crown win after I eliminated him, then I took my homework to the safe zone,then after that i received a notification that my fish drowned in it’s tank at my house.So then I  went to go get it, then I went back with the fish and I saw the aliens taking my homework, so then I was like “NOOO” then the aliens said “HEHEHE” “BYE BYE” so then I went back home and formed me a squad, and we had legendary weapons, so I had a pair of Nitro fists and Magneto powers and then I went back to smash the aliens spaceship with my Nitro fists, then I eliminated the aliens with my Magneto powers.

So welcome to my story it is about going back to school after the holidays…so first I wake up at 6:00 because my alarm was begging me to hurry up and get up so then stayed up till  I got ready at 6:30 and then I waited till 8:30 then I went to school and I saw my best friends. Second of all I saw my best friend coming to me, so then we both went and walked around because it was just the first day back at school. Then me and my best friend went to the basketball court then saw our other friends and then they were playing basket ball and one of them came to me and my best friend, and we were just walking around the park telling each other what we did in the school holidays. After that when the bell rang we went to class then we saw the rest of our friends and we were saying sup to each other then we had to go outside and do cross country training then after we did that we came back to class. Once we got back to class we did some literacy writing then after we did that we packed up at 10:50 for morning tea. The End

On Thursday 27 June 2024, Rm1 and Rm4 and Rm6 went to a Ki-o-Rahi Tournament which was at Point England Reserve.Once we got there we set up our school bags on the mat,then we put our Tag belts,then we waited for our first game to start which was at 10:30am.After that we did some training (running) and before our game we chosen a captain for our team so then, the captain gave us advice and after that the captain’s from both teams and we were versing Glen Iness and they did rock paper scissors shoot.Then after they did rock paper scissors shoot,they won so they told us we are Taniwha,then when we started they tried to score a try but they stood in the Ice bridge So ref said “HANDOVER!” and when they handed it over to us we hit the Tupu.When it reached half time we took a 5 minute break then after that It was a switch over so then they became Taniwha and when the ball was passed to me I touched 6 pou’s and then I started running while laughing because everyone was chasing me and I ran around once then I passed the ball to my teamate and he ran in for the try but his Tag got ripped.Suddenly the ref blowed the whistle then said “Tag your tags off if you borrowed it from here” then my whole team took our tag off and gave it to them then after that we lined up and shake hands while saying GG’s.Secound to last we had our next game at  11:30 and it was against Point England and when we were playing there team ran and stepped my teamates then jump and tried to score a try but my teamate on my left reached out and ripped his tag off then the ref said “HANDOVER!” because they scored a try with only 1 tag on so they gave the ball to me and I tricked them by fake throwing it to hitting the Tupu which was a point,once I scored the point we were laughing then after we were laughing there fastest player in there team stepped everyone and scored a try,then the ref blew the whistle and said that Point England  won so After that my team wanted to rise and shine for the next 2 last game.Then our next game was at 12:30pm  and we played touch, then after that we all were ready to shine up,so then when we had our 3rd game it was against Glen brae so when the game started we were challenging them, so hard and then we scored the first point,at the end of the game the ref said “RUAPOATAKA WINS” then we were all cheering for each other and laughing of happiness then we said to each other “let’s win the next game alright?” then we all agreed and said “yessir”. On the final game at 1:15pm we went against Glen Iness pool b and it was crazy insane,so first we started as Taniwha then when the Glen Iness team kicked off it was short so I jumped up high and intercepted it,then after that I pass it to my teammate then I went opposite him so when he threw it over them I catched it and it the Tupu,then when Glen iness had the ball they tried running in for the try but my teammate ran and catched him and ripped his tag off,and then they were on their last so they passed it to their teammate and he stepped my teammate then tried to run in for a try but I ripped his tag off and he fell for a try so ref said “HANDOVER!” then when Glen iness was Taniwha I had the ball then I touched 3 pous and then passed it to my teammate then she ran for a try.Lucky Last when we scored lots of tries the ref blew the whistle and then the ref said “RUAPOTAKA WINS” and we were all cheering for each other after shaking hands with the other team and we were happy that we won 2 and lost 2.
